The 'ideal path to fluency', which we call Designed Immersion™, is the result of an ongoing research and development project at Pars Omni (Educational Development Corporation) over the last 7 years.

Designed Immersion™ is based primarily on the research and ideas of (educational researcher) Dr. Georgi Lozanov and (linguist) Dr.Stephen Krashen.

We say that it is 'the ideal path to fluency' because it is the easiest, most practical way to become fluent: it doesn't require living in a foreign country, and aside from the initial 6-week Foundation Course (optional), the majority of the time you spend involves self-instruction where you decide what activities you do and when you do them. Yet the program is highly structured so that you always know what the effective practices are and, finally, those practices are easy, enjoyable and satisfying - as they must be if you are to continue doing them long enough to reach fluency.
